ABOUT US University Publishing Solutions, LLC is a custom publishing provider for academics, authors and publishers. We assist our clients in creating, producing and marketing their ideas in print and electronic formats. We offer print products such as coursepacks, lab manuals, journals, paperback and hardcover books, and reprints of out of print books. Because we use digital print technology, we provide our clients with quick turn around times and can print small runs. Our current electronic products include ebooks, and online tutorials. Our ebooks utilize Adobe’s Acrobat portable document technology (PDF) and can be distributed via the Internet, DVD or CD-ROM. We can set security on our ebooks to restrict or monitor printing, expire after a period of time or date, prevent copying and extraction and much more. Of course, we provide related services such as copyright clearance, document and picture scanning, optical character recognition (ocr), cover and book design, bar code creation, author homepages and an online bookstore. We can create promotional materials such as flyers, postcards, brochures, bookmarks, business cards, and posters. We also support a variety of software programs that we and our clients use for creating. Some of the notable software programs we support are InDesign, Framemaker, Pagemaker, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
